For the Rio Olympics I was asked to write a group of spots that highlighted good sportsmanship, which is a cornerstone identity for the IOC. I wanted the writing, and the films, to go beyond a "Let's Win!" impulse of a single team, single country, and speak more to the athlete in all of us with a reminder that we never do anything alone. If we are to be successful as a planet we need to understand that life is a "group project" between people, between countries, between athletes and fans. No one changes the world alone.
